Yes, I am keeping Pongo. Did I spell Dalmation wrong?

I have a Canon Powershot A300 and I use the macro mode when I take the rodent pics.

Well, in the dog breed it is spelled DalmatiAn, so I was just wondering if it was different in rats.

You would think so, but I have come to the conclusion that dog breeds are usually spelled different than you think!

I asked about the allergy problem because of their red noses. What kind of bedding do you use?

Thier noses aren't red? If you think it's staining, there is no staining. I use Carefresh Ultra and Aspen bedding. The gerbils get a mix of Aspen bedding mixed with bark mulch (reptile kind) to better suit their digging needs. I've owned gerbils and most small rodents and critters (ferrets, rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, degus, chinchillas, dormice, deermice, squirrels etc.) all my life.

if they were red wich i dont see they are, then it might just be the colour they were born with...like some dogs have brown and pink noses while others have black...im sure they arent sick

I know you know how to take care of gerbils. I was just wondering if they had allergies or if that was their normal nose colouring.
