    Off to the Shelter

Well I'm back from holidays and decided to get another dog. Some of you know that I had to put Pooka down, he made it to 20 years, and Sydney our other dog is lost without a friend. We have talked to the "Home" and they said they have a BorderCollie Cross that they haven't been able to place. Well we have 5 acres of fenced forest so hopefully she will be with us within a weeks time. We have to be approved for addoption. Wish us luck.

    Best Wishes

Good luck to you. Twenty years is a long life, Pooka was obviously well loved and well cared for. I hope Sydney (is he the Bull Terrier in your sig?) approves of the new housemate.

I'm glad Pooka had a long life with you. I wish you good luck at the shelter and finding a buddy for Sydney.

    Thanx All

Well so far so good. Yes, Syd is the Mini Bull Terror. ;-)

We went to see her at the home. They are going to have an investigator come out to check our property as well as talk to our Vet. But we can go to the shelter and visit her as often as we want until we get her. She is only 7 months old and it's been so long since I've had a puppy. She has been at the shelter her entire life.

    Keep wishing me luck.

    Best Wishes

    Ron

So sorry about your Pooka (((hugs))) That's a wonderfully long time to share with your furfriend. And good luck with the new little bundle of fluff, after seven months, she'll be sooooooo happy to get out of there! Hope all works out with your Sydney and the puppy.

    Two dog Family again

Hi all well yesterday, Yes Sunday, we came home from the shelter. Not with the dog we thought we were going to come away with. Instead of the Border Collie Cross we came home with a "Brown Dog" they said that she is a Staffy Cross but.... She is about the same height as Sydney and she is named Kirov. I don't know if that's after the Ballet of the Russian Aircraft Carrier. She is so timid. I don't know what happened to the little girl but she has her tail tucked way under her. I'll take some pictures when I get off work. Also have to change my signature. Should be a better pic as we have a camera now and I won't have to use my phone.
