They really can be nice.

I think it was in New York that they saved a poodle named Snoopy on the thruway. The dog was running loose in traffic and avoiding all of the police and motorists when it finally got hit by a car. It was OK and the police and other people finally caught it.

The owners retreived Snoopy, but I didn't see any thanks being given (although maybe the news people just didn't record it).
