Photo of Sasha, taken yesterday. Our darling is amazing! Sasha is still fighting and we are feeling so much better. After I picked up new appetite stimulator prescription pills and we gave her one -- big improvement! About 45 minutes after that pill was in her system it was as if an "appetite" switch was turned on. Sasha began eating & drinking:
Turkey, salmon, ice-cream, prescription kitten food, water, milk, 5% cream and Waltham's kitten/cat milk starting from around 6:30 p.m. [on and off] until midnight. We figure if you put all the food into a 5.8 ounce tin, she ate at least that if not more!!! Plus about 4 ounces of 5% cream and maybe 5 ounces of skim milk and then water every so often -- we're elated!
Sasha is comfortable right now, enjoying feline life which means she is sleeping well, purring, greets us, responds to her name by a little flick of her tail, jumps on the beds, and in general is surveying her Palace and estate grounds.
Her [our] veterinarian telephoned early evening to report on her consult with the veterinarian internist/oncologist. Sasha has, as reported yesterday, reached the end of her medical treatment and will now have meds that make her comfortable and allow her to live a happy pussy-cat life. We hope we get many more days but realistically know that her time is day-by-day. We treasure every nano-second our little girl is happy and comfortable and with us. We have promised Sasha she shall not suffer and we will honour that promise.
Another photo of our darling. Fri Aug 12 2005, 06:30pm ET --
Sasha was surveying the front of her Palace grounds [looking out of her human brother, Mark's window] when I called her name. She turned around to acknowledge me. Mark is away right now from his home-base in Pasadena, CA so is unaware of the further developments re: Sasha's health. Mark and fiancee Cherry live very far from Montreal, Canada...but Mark did fly in to visit Sasha in May.

Later today I'll take more photos and post in this Forum.
We are blessed: today is another day with Sasha which means it is a good day!
Thank you so much for your support. It is helping our darling little girl fight and stay with us. You are the best and we are so blessed to have human and pet friends pulling for Sasha.
xoxo
