It's funny, I have a Beagle/Black and Tan Coonhound/Husky mix, came up looking like a Very "round" (we dont call her fat) short, with a small head, the husky tail, and undercoat is grey, with a white chest marking. Everyone says she looks Rottie, and so we've been denied from renting apartments because of it, but her color is more tan than chocolate like a rottie. And she is too short and has a white chest marking. Her ears are too long and hre head is shaped all wrong, lol, shows what ignorance and jumping to conclusions gets them, they see black and tan, and freak! One of my favorite dogs is a Tibetan Mastiff, after I saw the movie as a child, Man's Best Friend, I was in love, colored nicely, lovely long coat, oh, gorgeous. But the black and tan look only adds to the rottie/dobie fear. One apartment turned us down because we had a Min Pin, they heard Pinscher and thought Miniature Doberman, BUT Min Pins actually don't even descend from Dobies, they are an older breed, descending from German Pinscher, with no relation to Dobies, except a comon founding ancestor.
Well, listen at me rambling,
