Hi Dixie Belle. Welcome, welcome, welcome. I am glad you joined us. Being new too I have found this is the greatest place to talk with and get to know others with the same love of our pets. Even tho I feel they are my babies and part of the family, many people think we pet lovers are nuts. They do not understand the close relationships and joy we experience. So glad to meet someone like me.

I have two golden retrievers, both boys. Sandy is 2 1/2 yrs, Moses 11 months. I have a kitty named Jasper, and he has been missing since last month...and guess that's why I call myself Jasper's Mom, because no matter what, I will always be. Over time I have had other dogs and kitties, fish, parakeets and my son had a gerbil once. I have rescued two dogs that I found homes for, and sometimes consider volunteering at the local Humane Society, or maybe the nearest no-kill shelter.
