Nina has hair like that all over. Some spots ''never'' need to be cut, others grow normally. We've had all the tests done and everything comes back normal. No thryoid trouble. We had the blood work sent to one of the top thryoid specialist in the US. She had the symptoms , a little bit to heavy, sort of bug eyes, bad hair growth and skin that turned gray. It's been about 1.5 yeras since some of her hair has grown. I am scared if she ever has to have a surgery and they do shave it all the way down to skin, that it will never grow back.
