Reminds me of a Rottie I use to know. He just LOVED kids. He would lay down & let the kids play on him. With the kids large enough to walk around, he would let them jump on him, pull his ears & poke him in the eye. He was very protective when the babies cried, he was first on the sceen & would do this odd whimper snarl noise.
