Gonzo is really good off-leash .. he's only off in controlled areas away from traffic, but he stays really close anyway. I don't let him wander more than 20 ft no matter what, just so that he doesn't get a big head he knows that when I say *leave it* in my serious voice, he'd better leave what he's doing and come back NOW! hehe
