Sandra:
Thanks for your message. All I heard from Susan so far is that she was very happy with the new vet. He called her several times to reassure her that Duffy was doing well after the biopsy. He also thought that it may not be lymphoma because he would not have lasted four months after the swelling in his neck was discovered. That's how long it took for poor Susan to find a vet who really knows what his's doing.Lets all keep our fingers and paws crossed until the results of the test come back.
The place she found is Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts. It's a new facility with 12 consulting rooms and the latest technology available. I hope no Pettalker needs it, but it would be good to know about it for anybody in that area.
I'll let you know as soon as I hear from Susan.

He has lymphoma. The vet did many tests to make absolutely sure, he believes it is slow growing and has began to treat him with oral chemotherapy. Of course, Susan is devastated; she thanks you all for your prayers and possitive thoughts.
Thanks you so much for sharing his picture with us. Please tell Susan not to give up hope. We will all be pulling for her beautiful boy. We are all sending you a big get well hug, brave Duffy. Love, Sandra
