Thanks Phred, we were posting at the same time.

Prevention:
Cycle the AC ON more often to keep the room less hot AND
allow the AC to remove some of the high humidity;
AND turn the desired temp UP until the AC has a chance
to SLOWLY lower the Temp & Humidity.
I am afraid I don't follow this.
