I am amazed at how many people don't have AC or just have window units. Being in Florida it's a must, there are some people that don't have it (usually older houses) and I don't know how they manage. Last summer with the hurricanes we were without power for days and that meant awful, awful heat and humidity. Just a stale, mucky feeling with no wind to speak of. Absolutely dreadful. I just thought more people had central AC.
