Not going far and it's only temporary. Moving to another apartment in my building while they do earthquake retrofitting on my apartment and then I get to move back in to my newly repainted and hopefully newly carpeted rent-controlled apartment. Many of my things are in boxes; I'm just waiting for the word that it's time to move.Originally posted by NoahsMommy
So, where are you moving? Staying in San Fran still?
The cats are NOT enjoying the destruction ... er, um I mean constructionSo far in the past two weeks the workers have cut my phone lines three times, broken windows in other apartments, jammed the elevator and then broke through a wall to get the worker out of the not-broken elevator, fallen down an airshaft, through a ceiling, etc. Every day when I get home the M's are huddled together in the bedroom well away from all the noise and I ask the building manager "what did they break today?" It's SO much fun! (NOT!)
