You might want to have JJJ3 checked out for a herpes virus in his eye. Those are the same symptoms MooShoo had when he was diagnosed. In the meantime, the best thing you can do is just wipe his eyes out with a warm, wet wash cloth.

It's not your fault, kiddo. Often, stray cats have eye gunk. It's just part of their make-up. At least that's what my vet told me.
