Micki, that'd work out well because I think Dallas is about the halfway point between me and Leslie. Thanks so much for offering help. With 3 of us working on this, we have to come up with something. I'm waiting to hear from the Pit rescue to see if they can take her and/or the puppies. I'm also going to PM someone from this forum who does some Pit rescuing in Houston.
Thank you Micki and Aly so much. To make any progress getting my dear little buddy Jolly any help is a weight off my chest. The owners WILL be mad that their dog is going to come up missing, but I want to get my in-laws or someone to pick her up when I take her for a walk so they never suspect me. If they ask me if I've seen her, I'll tell them she followed me on a walk and then started following some other guy, or she chased a cat into someones yard and she didn't want to come with me home.

I've intentionally created a good rapport with them because I want to take Jolly out of there, and I don't want them to suspect me in any way. I've been really careful to say hi to them, to wave to them, to smile at them when I see them. They've been very civil towards Ricky and I, but they are still bad news, regardless. If I didn't have Kersey, I'd be freaking out and probablly wouldn't get involved in any way. Kersey is SO protective, when people walk by our yard, she barks and charges the fence, she'd likely maul someone who entered my yard/house uninvited, so I am not worrying myself sick over this. I just want everything to work out as planned.

Thanks so much for your help. Jolly is truly a special little girl. She's got the best temperment, considering she lives in such a hell-hole of a house. She's always happy, except when her owners are fighting, then she gets scared. Aly feel free to call my cell up to 1AM, and as early as 8AM. Once I start work (I start on the 18th) it won't be as easy to plan any rescue efforts but maybe we can get this done before then if we're lucky.

And I believe AC will euthanize immediately. They don't adopt out pit or pit mixes. That's the impression I got when I inquired about it. If AC picks her up, the only one who can get her out is her current owners, since she's most likely pure pit, she won't be adopted out. If they can't produce her health records, they'll euthanize.

Thanks again. I hope this works, Jolly's put her paw print on my heart.
