Have you sent Aly a PM? She might know someone who could foster Jolly. How old are the pups? Are they old enough to be away from mom, or do they follow when she goes on walks with you?

She sounds like a great dog in a bad spot. Are you sure your city has a "euthanize first, ask later" policy on Pitties? Does she look very obviously pit, or might you be able to say "She's a terrier mix, or she's a Lab mix," or whatever else is apparent in her genetic make-up?
