I'll bet it was gorgeous if you saw the sun come up! I suspect it's rather close to setting (time says it's 2 P.M there). Maybe I'll catch the sun set. It looks very windy, but crisp and clear looking. Perfect Nessie spotting weather lol!

Ohhh, the sheep are on the other side of the fence today. The other day I saw 4 of them. Now it's getting dark - the time is 15.10. Still no sign of Nessie.

Is that first "sheep" really a cow? It has a spot of black on it's side. Do sheep have spots?

It's been dark whenever I log in, but a friend originally from Scotland briefed me -- this time of year, the sun sets about 4 or 5 p.m. local time and rises 8 ish. And from where I live in California, Scotland is 8 hours ahead of us. So, fumbling with fingers ... Sunrise would be about midnight California time and sunset would be 10 am California time, or a little later.

Hmmm, no wonder it's always dark when I pop in!

I thought I would come back and have a look at this thread, because I remember complaints about the lack of sun in February. I thought I could post a nice sunny summer picture, but when I went to the webcam ...

Doesn't really look a lot different from February, does it?

OK... so this has got nothing to do with the webcam... but I did read today in the paper that there's gonna be some sort of swim in Loch Ness, and the contestants are being insured incase they're eaten by Nessie...

Brilliant link! I love the way the insurance company are trying to talk up the risk. If they thought there was the remotest possibility of an athlete being eaten, they wouldn't be insuring them at all.

Wonder how much they will charge?
