That's terrible! Start a letter writing campaign now. Flood the local papers, politicians and police stations with letters. Bad press often gets them moving.

I'd like clarify one point. There is a HUGE difference between animal agression and human agression in dogs. Just because a pit bull is animal aggressive (which lots of dogs are) and has killed another animal, does NOT mean that they will then become human aggressive. Case in point, my last foster pit bull, Daisy Mae. High prey drive, got a hold of a kitty , yet was still a successful therapy dog, visiting sick children in the hospital with not an aggressive bone in her body towards any person, ever.

I don't want to offend anybody, but this is one of the misconceptions that pit bulls are facing today and it's simply not true. Please keep us updated on the poor kitty situation.
