I doubt it would have even said that. It would have just said "Pit bull viciously attacks teen." Out of all the "attacks" in the news, you know at least SOME Of them were instigated by people, but we never hear about people causing the attacks. I'm in agreeance that this is a horrible crime and I hope this kid gets what's coming to him. I'm not debating you or arguing. But, bestiality is not a new thing, it's been around for many years. The person who did this is clearly mentally ill. The girls and the dog deserve our pity. Their families derserve our pity and our prayers for healing, this is a life-altering event for everyone concerned. I hope they all get the help and the counseling and understanding they will need to overcome this.

Yes, the rapist deserves to be locked away from the rest of humanity forever. But being angry at him, or wishing cruelty on him, does not help his illness, nor the root causes of it. And it will not even hurt him. If he was the kind of person who cared about what others think, he likely would never have committed these horrible crimes.

So much of how the human brain works is misunderstood. We do not know why some people are sociopaths. We do not know why other people are not. Maybe some day we will, and this kind of behavior can be started before anyone or anything comes to harm.

Use your anger and energy to make sure animal cruelty is a crime taken seriously in your city, town, county or wherever you live.
