HE'S BACK!

Oh my gosh, thankyou SO much for your prayers everyone! Its been 5 days since he disappeared and to be honest I didn't think I was ever going to see him again. I've called all the vets, shelters, police, the local newspaper, put flyers up, went door to door, everything, and no-one had seen him.

I've had absolutely EVERYONE looking for him, (and yes that includes the guy who lost him, he's been really upset and been looking non-stop for Squid, I can't stay mad at him for losing him, even though it was an IDIOTIC thing to do, because he honestly didn't mean to and I know how bad he must feel, because I've had moments where I've thought I've lost the dogs myself and it's a horrible feeling)

Anyway, about 2am this morning I got a phone call. "Your dog's just shot through the bus station (we live in the centre of town) Ive been chasing him for the last 1/2 hour!" I slammed the phone down, grabbed my bike and opened the door, and WHO shot past my feet, jumped on the sofa barking at the top of his lungs with his bandana still round his neck and half a lead still trailing from him after five days??!

I'll give you a clue:

NO idea where he's been the last five days, but it looks like he's been on the loose the whole time. He came back with half a lead trailing behind him, not sure whether he chewed through it or what, because it's rubber coated webbing and pretty strong, but it was severed right in half I wish he could talk so he could tell me where he's been all this time, but he doesn't seem any worse for it. He was dying for a drink but apart from that he was fine. He's obviously been getting food from somewhere, and he's toileting normally so it doesn't look like any damage has been done. And BOY was he proud of himself for finding his own way home (to a flat I've only lived in for a few weeks I might add - clever boy!) his tail hasn't stopped wagging!

Thankyou SO much for all your prayers. I'm so glad to have my baby back
