Stop and smell the roses pics..

Everyone should take time to stop and smell the roses! The wild roses are in bloom all over right now!

    Can you spot the huskies??

Yup, there are dogs in there!

    Oh, there's Daisy!

Chum is never too far behind his girlfriend!

Ozzy is one happy boy after a swim and play in the wildflowers!

What a great reminder to take a break and enjoy nature! Dogs are such great teachers. I think Ozzy is my favorite.

That's exactly what I was thinking, Ozzy is all legs. Great pics of the crew (well only some of them ). Beautiful roses too.

Ah yes, dogs can find a way to enjoy themselves no matter what the weather.

Hey Glacier, pardon my ignorance, but I really do not have a good idea where you are (my geography is lousy anyway). What kind of outdoor wildlife do you have up there? And I am thinking more in the way of nuisance creatures like ticks, mice, snakes, spiders, that kind of thing (not larger more hearty creatures).

No ticks or fleas. No skunks. Never seen a snake. No rats. Lots of mice, voles and moles. Spiders, ants, beetles are around. Lots of mosquitos and black flies. Got a few butterflies and moths--Ozzy likes to chase them. Porcupines are plentiful! We have weasels, badgers, and wolverines. Foxes, wolves and coyotes are everywhere!

Lots of bigger critters too--twice as many moose live here as people, lots of bears, a few elk and deer, lots of sheep and caribou.

I surprises me that something as delicate as butterflies are there. It must be fun to watch Ozzy chase them.
