Thanks for the warning, Phred. The tech guy warned us about that too, but they had wiped so much off trying to find the leak that he didn't think the amount that was left would be a problem.
We were up until Midnight last night, trying to find a leak! We could not recreate the problem, so how can you fix something that isn't broken?
This morning they tightened a few things up and removed a gauge that seemed to be loose (plugged that hole up good) and so far, we've been stopping about every 50 miles or so and all we've seen is a teeny tiny dribble of oil down the filter. So, either the probelm miraculously (sp?) fixed itself or something was loose or it came from the gauge that we removed. Either way, Terry is now much much much much much much much happier - but not totally happy, but it looks like we'll at least be able to make it home. Next weekend's grand plans of surprising my mom will probably have to be canceled, but I can deal with that. As long as we're home where we have familiar repair facilities and we can both go to work and I can pick up Peanut - that's all that matters.
So, life is returning to being good.
Now if we can get some sleep tomorrow I'm sure things will look a lot better to us.
