Ooooh, impressive pictures, Chris! Are you OK down there??? We had a little bit of thunder and lightening early last Sunday morning, but nothing since. Are Bob and Ebby OK?
Bob and the Ebbs are fine, storms and such don't faze them, especially brave Bobby boy. Thanks for asking.

The storm did cause problems for a couple of people in my area, one was actually struck by lightning.

A TEENAGER miraculously survived a terrifying ordeal which left him paralysed down one side of his body when he was struck by a bolt of lightning.
Scott Howell, 16, of Marchwiel, was in a car on the A439, travelling between Penley and Overton, during last Sunday afternoon’s heavy storms. He was with a friend following the Renault Clio belonging to his older brother, Michael, which crashed into a ditch. Scott had got out of the car to direct oncoming traffic out of the way when he was struck by lightning.
Scott said: “I was travelling in the car behind my brother. Because of the heavy rain his brakes locked and his car rolled into a ditch.
“We pulled over and I got out of the car. My mate told me to go up the road to guide the traffic away from the car.
“The next thing I heard a massive crash of thunder and the lightning hit the gate next to me. The doctor said it had travelled up through my knee and up my body through my arm. A hole was burned in the underneath of my trainers.”
He said the experience had left him with a limp in his right leg and slight paralysis in his left arm, but was recovering well after a short stay at Wrexham Maelor Hospital." he added: “I’m doing OK, I feel a bit better.”

Another man was lucky to be only slightly injured after a lightning bolt struck his house causing ceilings to collapse.
