Well, this looks like good news, very encouraging. And you are both a long way from home! - so safe journey back and a hopefully happy reunion with Peanut. By the time you get back she'll have perked up a bit I'm sure, she probably wouldn't have wanted you to see her at her worst anyway, cats have their pride you know They're so smart you'd almost wonder if she'd timed it to save you the pain of seeing her before she was back on her feet and groomed and preened.
