Barbara, I also recommend water fountain if you don’t already have one.
I have the Drinkwell and it’s truly the best thing I ever bought for my cats.
I have two cats with previous bladder problems and I’m constantly watching them when they use the litter box and they are definitely drinking much more water then before.
The local food sounds great.
