{{{HUGS}}}} I am stunned to hear this news. I will be praying for a speedy and complete recovery. I told the kitties to keep all their paws crossed for her.

    Oh Debbie, I'm so sorry.
Lots of prayers for your beautiful Peanut girl.
Poor baby! I hope she recovers quickly from the surgery.
The vet sounds very positive and that has to be a good sign.
    Get well soon, sweet Peanut!

Thanks to BCBlondie for this great signature!

I had a thought....my poor baby probably has a cone on ...and I'm not there to take pictures.... ...poor little girl....and she probably got her leg shaved for the IV, right? Don't they normally do that when they have surgery?

Thanks so much again everybody. I know she's probably resting comfortably....but I sure wish I was with her as she rested comfortably....

We're in St. Robert, MO for the night. I'll check in again in the morning after I talk to the vet. Although my internet service will be more spotty tomorrow so I'll check in when I can and let you know how the little patient is doing.

    To Peanut's Quick Recovery

I remember how Lucy's trouble thyroid caused urinary problems, and I'm glad that's Peanut's looking at a full recovery. Man, I feel old. I remember first seeing Peanut at your mom's house. I always thought she was beautifully colored. I remember Tubby as well, and I still have to meet CJ.

Me, my husband, and my zoo all wish Peanut to get well soon.

Wishing Peanut a full return to health as soon as possible. I saw the earlier posts "it's just a UTI " and thought all was ok - just checked in again now and learned about the operation/tumour etc. You must be beside yourself with worry, having to travel at this time. My thoughts are with you and your cats, the one in surgery the other "home alone", bless him. If love and the support on here count for anything, (and they do, of course)Peanut will be just fine, it just takes time. One day at a time. Best wishes from me and my two girls

Oh poor little Peanut! I'm sorry you can't be with her, but I hope by now she's recovering from her surgery, with or without a cone - probably best she has one on. Yes, she has most likely been shaved too, but the little lady won't care what she looks like - and you're not there to laugh at her.

Sweet Peanut, get better soon!! We're all rooting fo you!

Sending kisses and headbumpies to you girl, and hugs to your mom and dad.

Got an update this morning, but it was like pulling teeth out of the girl who answered the phone. All she did was answer my questions with brief answers and I'm thinking "C'mon, I want information here!"

Anyway, she has not eaten yet, but that is normal after what she's been through. And she was eating like a little piggy before I took her in, so I'm sure once she's feeling better she'll start eating again. I asked if she had a cone on and the girl said no, she's still pretty weak and just laying around - which is also normal after what she's been through. She did say that Peanut is very sweet and they're all taking turns petting her and talking to her, so that made me feel a little better. I'm sure they still have her on some pretty good pain meds also, so she's still probably pretty out of it, but I'm sure she's wondering what's going on and why her meowmy isn't there...poor little girl.

But all in all it was a good update. I asked if there had been any setbacks and she said no, Peanut is doing as well as can be expected after a major surgery like this.

I miss her here in her carrier next to my chair and we drive, and yes, I even miss CJ and his constant meowing and kicking his carrier and rolling around and causing a ruckus. Terry even said he misses having them here.
