Well, it's not true that their coats aren't soft when they grow up. It depends on the pug. For instance, Zeus wasn't even that soft when he was a puppy, and he still isn't extremely soft. Annabelle, though, is extremely soft.... as you can see, it depends on the pug.Originally posted by Animal lady
I was thinking about getting a pug but somone told me that when they grow up they are not soft at all and they have problems.

Some pugs do have skin problems and allergies... that's the most common problem with pugs... Zeus has seasonal allergies and sometimes ear infections, but they're very easy to take care of. But over all, I'll never, ever regret getting a pug. I love him so much.

if your talking about personailty wise.. my brother had a Pug mix by the name of Brute,, when we were little. his personitly didnt change when he grew out of puppy hood. was just as much as loveable goof ball even in his older years and very sweet. great dog. always made us laugh. we miss him so much.
