I have been quite stumped by this "DLH" reference and have been trying to figure out what it might mean. At first, I thought it must be the acronymn for "Delightful Lunatic Herbivore," but, thinking more about it, I rejected the notion that Boots could be a Herbivore. I then settled upon, "Doofus Human Lover," and there was was much in the write up and picture to make me think this might be correct, and yet, I don't really believe boots is a doofus, so I rejected that one, too.
Perhaps, I reasoned, Boots is a "Dog Lover Herself". If so, then why didn't her person just say, "Boots loves dogs"? It would have been so much simpler! - but this would make her a BLD, wouldn't it? And then it struck me! "Drinker of Lime Hotties!"
But have you ever saw a cat that would have anything to do with citrus?
Aha! I've got it! DLH - "Dreaded Leaping Hellcat!"
No, no, no - looking back at the picture, I see nothing to dread, though perhaps she does pack a little bit of hell in her (and don't we all?).
Oh! I know! "Darling Little Hellion!" Yes, that's it! Boots is a "Darling Little Hellion."
I'm glad I finally figured it out. Boots, the Darling Little Hellion domestic longhair cat.
Hmm??? Wouldn't that really make her a BTDLHDLHC?
If we are going to through acronyms around in reference to cats, let's get them right!
