Himalayans & Bengals go straight to my heart. Aside from being beautiful cats, they were always very precious to my heart.
I had 2 (non-purebred) himalayans with siamese markings when I was around 13 years old, and 1 all black himalayan cat. They were all siblings (one from a different litter, who was stolen), and I got the black & 1 siamese kittens after the first one was stolen. They were such loving cats, and they will always hold a special place in my heart. The one that was stolen even came back home about a year after he had been stolen - shortly after the black one had died. He was all grown up, sick, but definitely the same cat with the same fear of my shower stallThey're very endearing, lazy, loveable, not very bright, but poseable "limp washcloth" cats. I really miss those guys, and I still have framed pictures of those babies up in my apartment - and I don't have very many pictures up.
Bengals - I currently have a 2 year old male bengal. He's a hoot. He's so smart, so friendly, extra sweet, and such an entertainment thrill. His fur is so soft, and his tummy is so fat! He's irresistable!
