{{Thanks guys.}}
Your heartfelt posts have made me cry. I'm numb, depressed, and can't think straight. I'll try to recap everything but it may not make sense.
First and foremost, Miss Tinkerbelle started drinking much more than normal and eating WAY LESS than normal late last week. Then she started throwing up... we called the vet first thing Tuesday. From her symptoms, the vet thought it was a bladder/kidney infection; she prescribed some antibiotics and made an appointment for Thursday morning (earliest they could get her in).
Today, mom took her to the vet and the news was less than pleasant. Tinker's lost almost all use of her kidneys. All they can do is give her fluids under the skin, in hopes that it will perk up her appetite. In short, it just buys us time to say goodbye.
The vet warned us that her throwing up will get worse. Right now, she has semi-control over her bladder (it's not too bad -just when/where she sleeps (the dog's bed)- she still uses the litterbox) ... but that, too, will get worse.
She's not grooming herself and she's not really moving except to go to/from her bed, water bowl, and litterbox. She'll be 13 this month. She was/is Clarice's kitten; we've had her since she was born.
She goes Monday for another round of fluids.
Squacky Squirrel.
I can't talk about it. I don't know what happened. He was FINE and then 2 hours later, he was gone.
My dad burried him close to Miz Sophie.
My heart is *breaking* for that little guy.
I am sooooo sorry, Squacky. I feel like I failed you.![]()

Miss Kissiekat... I'm probably just being paranoid due to the recent tragedies (I don't even know if a cat can get skin cancer -- I'm guessing that, if they can, they would have to be in the sun a LOT... she's not). I'm sure it's just a pigment "thing" but it seems weird it'd pop-up OVERNIGHT after 2.5 yrs. I want it checked out for my peace of mind.
Lastly, can ya'll keep another guy in your prayers? Long story short, I've been chasing a Great Pyranese around town for two days. Tonight, I was finally able to feed him a hamburger. He's so lost and confused... I just pray that he lets me help him. That in itself will be another feat; he won't let anyone touch him --only came close to me because I set the food semi-close-- he's filthy-dirty and limping but seems friendly enough. However, I'm not 100% sure that he's going to fit in my car if/when I can get him to trust me. And, assuming I can get him in the car, I'm not sure the humane society (I am NOT taking him to the pound) will take him.
PLEASE --I beg you-- to say a prayer that everything falls into place for this big guy. *crosses fingers*
Thank you guys
