Gina, I'm sorry you lost some of your fish. It's very hard to find healthy goldfish.
thank you! and yeah!!

your story sounds very similar about finding healthy one.. I've been trying to find health ones, very hard! what's with these goldfishes these days??! :cofused:

=================================
nobody asked me but let me tell you this story about my seven goldies..

about many years ago, (1996 probably) I fed my seven goldfishes I had for seven years in a large tank on my nighttable and said good bye, going out on biketrip with a friend.. when I got back, of course, my room was the first room I enter. and the tank was GONE and the carpet was very soaky. I ran around the house..mommy? mommy?! she found me, told me they all are fine...in a bucket.

what happened was, .. my sister (a brat who knows better to not play in my room!!) and her friend were playing catch-and-throw brush! one scene, they both fought over taking the brush, my sister had it in her hand, as trying to pull away from her friend, and swinged it behind her....*crackes!* water running out through a hole on bottom of tank where she punctured it through with the brush, even goldies swam out.. lucky my mother was there, picked up all helpless goldies for me.

I checked the bucket, all of them looked fine!! and we were going to get a fancy...new tank! but mommy said after we bob out the water off the carpet. we cleaned, cleaned and cleeeaned.. (18 gallons..something) and we got tired.. went to bed early.

next morning, .."mom?!! where's the bucket!?!" "uh-oh...I put them ....outside last night..."

"OUTSIDE?!?!!"

ran backdoor for outside...found just a bucket sitting there...all gone. *heart dropped*

I've had seven for seven years and they were very important to me after I couldn't sleep for many years after a big bad 1989 earthquake. those goldies by my bed, watching them eating, bubbling, chasing each other ...until I fall asleep.

in these nowdays, I still am telling my sister.. YOU owe me seven still! she feels bad but find this funny...

those four..well two now, aren't my few firsts I tried again to have them longer! frustrating. I can sleep well now but still impossible to sleep without them they're always something to me!

anyywaaayy, you're lucky to have lucky, chocolatepuppy! can I see a picture of him here?
