I just want to say, that every single day I look in the Classifieds for dogs that need adoption, things like that.There is so many hurt dogs that need a humans love so much there!For example, a couple weeks ago,there was a Husky that only had three legs.I wanted to adopt it so much, but it's not there any more.Another commen example,there was a collie/rotty mix(I think that was it) there that came from the shelter,it said "Somwhat scared of men, needs a single women to love and embrace.Would love with all his heart". I mean, I know the shelter is a good place to look for abused animals, animals that need help, stuff like that, but please, look in the Classifieds as well.I do it every morning.Another thing, it gives you a chance to give a stray dog back to it's owner.I just really wanted to say that it's a another place besides shelters that need caring people to come and take care of these poor animals! Thanks you so much to whoever reads this!

You are right. I read the classifieds as well, but because I cannot take another dog, it breaks my heart, just like looking at the shelter sites does, then I have to back off for a while.

thanks for posting this. there are alot of people who probally never thought of that. i've been doing so since i was about five years old. it's what got me reading the paper. and it's the thing i'm most excited to read. it can be sad sometimes knowing there is nothing i can do. everyone i know can't have anymore pets, and neither can i.
