Thanks Jennifer! Star is swimming as I speak, and it's only 40 degress! Cody is the official "lifeguard! She goes into the ocean up to her shoulders; she loves that. Last year for the first time she "let go" and actually started paddling! We were all alone, it was a very warm day in Oct. The water was so warm and nice and there wasn't a soul around. I said what the heck, took off my shorts and went in in my undies and T shirt! Cody followed me in and off she swam. I was s o excited and proud I started to cry! Her face looked like..."Mom, and I'm doing good??" What can I say, they're my kids! LOL!! Cody is a Husky/Shep. I'm not sure either breed loves the water, but I may be wrong! When it's hot out, she'd rather dig a hole in the shade and just nap!! Give big hugs to Duncan, and if you're ever up my way, POOL PARTY!!
