YES THE DO DO CAT SCANS AND MRIS ON ANIMALS.
They usually do them at bigger vet centers like state schools. I don't know where they would do them in Canada. I know they do them at OSU Vet hospital here in OHIO. They suggested I do that for Shaianne if the seizures didn't stop but the phenobarb did stop them. They are expensive, but since Presly is so young and having them so often it might be worth it. I had decided I was not going to go that route. But I also work at a people hospital and one of my coworkers said she would figger out a way to do it for me. And an ER Doc said he would look at the films for me. But we never got to that point.
The best advice I can give you is when she starts a seizure, get her on the floor as quickly as possible, and if need be a dishtowel rolled up like a log b/n her teeth to prevent her from biting her tongue.
