Mugsy that really made me sit up and take notice. When Ashley died at 14 it was from an enlarged liver. She just stopped eating one day and couldn't keep anything down. Her liver was 1/3 larger than normal. She was on the Phenobarb for about 7 years. I guess if it was caused by the Phenobarb at least it took 7 years to take its toll and it was over quickly. From the time she showed symptoms until she went to the RB was a little more than a week.Originally posted by mugsy
I have a friend who had a Staffie with epilepsy. She didn't give him phenobarb because of the long term liver damage.![]()
