Hooray for you helping out your local Humane Society's annual event.
Our Shelter had their 14th Annual "Walk for the Animals" this last May 7th and it was a big success..........this year we didn't get soaked [rain] like we did in 2004. It was cool and overcast--perfect.
I always look forward to this event......'normally I would take my own dog--but since she is a bit dog/dog aggressive she sat this one out and I was able to "borrow" a beautiful dog from the shelter. He wore an "adopt me" vest.....and had a great time walking w/all the other dogs and people. I hated having to take him back after the event was over.

I won't bore ya'll w/my photo's....but getting great shots of all the participants [we even had small ponies and a large tortise]is half the fun.
