LOL...too true - maybe if we just leave the "evil hoover" out in the room, she'll stay away on her own.

The good thing is that we can maintain control since we own the home and will likely be doing most of the work ourselves (except maybe the carpeting)...

I remember when she was still a kitten we replaced a french door and she sat just a foot shy of the big opening and wouldn't go out. Now that she is older she is a bit of a "door dasher" although she's never been outdoors (well, there was that one day when she escaped my grasp and got under the deck and in the mud for an hour )
