0_0. . ok. . why should she by put to sleep as soon as possible? She's young, and she is trying. Most dog owners out there dont even care enough to adress behavior problems

I'm guessing its because of the choke chains? I agree, choke chains are the least of help in this situation Sassy just needs positive training. . choke chains will probably only injure/confuse her. They should be used only after the dog and handler have been through training on how to use them and the dog first learns how to heel. . if she doesn't know what you want from her, and you're just yanking and choking her, it will do nothing to help her!

WHAT?! We would never want Sassy to be put to sleep. . . I have no idea how you got that. She was saying that YOU should be put to sleep, and she was being completely sarcastic/joking. She said that probably because she does not believe Choke Chains are safe or humane, a lot of people believe that. Sassy just needs Basic Obedience Training, and I'm guessing your neighbor is not a professional, trained Obedience instructor?

Um, i don't think he is but he has 6 dogs and all r very well trained. he also has 1 of his dogs in some kind of sporting event i think. i asked him 2 help me because when he first got his dogs they were like sassy (crazy crazy crazy ) but now they r totally 100% obedient and calm.

Good luck with your training. Please remember it takes time to train a dog. Just keep up with the training EVERY DAY! Even if you are too tired, do a 15 minute training session so Sassy can learn. And be consistent. Good luck and keep us posted as to how it's going.

P.S. You may want to convince your parents to pay for a proper obidience class. Let them know it would be best for Sassy as well as for the whole family. An obidient dog is a happy and well-behaved dog and a happy and well-behaved dog can make a family VERY happy too.

    Good luck.
