If you read my post, I said that I don't understand why people THINK that it affects them -- yes, I said that gay marriage doesn't affect me -- but the entire point I was trying to make is that it doesn't affect anybody, not "it doesn't affect me, and I don't care about anyone else." Homosexuality in itself can affect many people. I know people who are gay, so yes, it affects me. But homosexual marriages?Originally posted by kuhio98
Suki and wolfsoul ~ So, you are only interested in what impacts your life? If it doesn't have anything to do with you, you don't care what happens in the world?
How am I looking the other way? I'm fighting for what I believe in. For gay people to have the same rights as straight people. I guess that means I'm only caring about myself --- even though I AM straight. I don't understand the point you are trying to make. I'm speaking up right now, and I will continue to speak up. He didn't speak up because he wasn't "whatever?" Well I'm speaking up, and I'm not gay, so I guess I might as well be saying right now "They came for the homosexuals, and I spoke up even though I'm not gay." I truly don't understand the relevance in what you are saying...
