By now you probably know that it is not a matter of IF a cat is going to throw up, but only WHERE, WHEN and HOW MUCH.
Sure you need to keep a watch to see if she is sick. But I'm convinced that cats get "colds" too. Their digestive system seems to work equally well in both directions. Reverse gears is used as a protective measure to get rid of anything in the system that might not set well.
First thing, and this is for the newer folks here, don't make a big fuss over puke. Cats are emotional. They get embarassed. The fury of rushing for the mop and broom is one thing, but the smell of cleaning fluids can make the toughest on 'em run for under the bed. After that they know that thaey caused all this. Expect sulking.
