I think you really need to search up some pics of declawing surgery for hubby to see. I can assure you there are super graphic pictures and even videos to be found and I can also assure you that once he sees these he will not suggest so readily to declaw. The item you are referring to is called SOFTCLAWS. I have not used them but I know people who have and they claim they are quite good.
