To me anyone who thinks their relationship is ok now, is condoning her actions of the past, saying it is ok to have sex with a 12 year old, that in itself leaves a very sour taste in my mouth and leaves the door wide open for all paedophiles.
Obviously your opinion, and you failed to notice I did not say it was ok to have sex with a 12 year old, as a matter of fact I stated that I would NOT approve and have a serious talk with my 12 year old.

Tell me what is the difference between her and paedophile? because he was a consenting teenager? give me a break!, and is supposedly in love with her.
she did not molest him, for the sex was consentual, but under dictionary terms she is a pedophile whether it was consentual or not.

So I guess if I were to fall in love with my daughter's friend, a 12 year old boy from school, bed him, have a child to him, serve my jail term, come out and wed him, you would wish me well would you?
again, I never said it was ok to have sex with a 12 year old and actually stated an agreement that I wouldn't approve. if he'd wait till he was 18 and did it with her i would still have a problem with the age difference.

just like i wouldn't approve two 12 year olds going at it (and some do! even when I was in hs!), or a 12 yo girl and 42 yo guy...

I don't approve of it, but obviously they love each other after all they've been through, and that's better than some 'almost the same age' relationships I've seen around.

Frankly, WE (including me) have no place to judge them, we do not know them or his or her maturity level and haven't known them during that time to find out information to better judge them...
