I picked both mine up at local kill shelters here in Texas. Do you have these? Ours are called "Animal Control" and each city has one. Poor animals. They are killed each week or 3 days for strays or right away for owner releases if they don't have the room to keep them. They didn't ask me about work or anything - just the money - $8 if already fixed and $40 for the fix from a local vet. If there is anything wrong with them of course you don't know ahead of time - they just put them up for adoption if they look healthy. Both mine have a little adjusting to do as both were caught in traps in the wild. But they seem to have had a home at one time since they know all the basics. Anyway - just an idea if you have shelters near you. Debbie
