But, if money isn't an option, it seems like something to be looked into anyway. Furnished apartments can be rented for a few months while he is looking for a home. Then, no one will be put out, and, the dog and owner can be together. And, even hire someone to take the dog out a couple of times a day, and, medicate her if needed. Just a suggestion!
He has looked into renting places (apartments & motels). So far all of the apartments he has called on either won't allow a dog (especially a big dog) or won't do a month to month or a short term lease. None of the motels will allow a dog or an unsupervised dog & my uncle has to work so the dog would be left alone for some time each day.

Gosh this is SO HARD.
