Well, the leash idea seems to be working just fine. Kahlua hasn't figured out how to contort herself to slip out of the harness yet (unlike Zelda who got out of it on her second day with me). Mowgli and Zelda won't go near Kahlua, but the Mowg monster seems more at ease when she's leashed. He knows his meowmie won't let the big bad scary Kahlua eat him up.

If Kahlua gets within a couple of feet of Zelda, Zelda huddles up and goes, "Grrrrrr...." I swear that girl must have a little dog in her to be able to do that so well! First time she met my sister's dog, she growled, and Mom and I both looked at each other and go, "Was that the cat or the dog!?"

And Kahlua is definitely a heart stealer. And clingy! It's hard to get a good picture of her because she's practically velcroed to my leg, so all I can get is her back. She'll be all cuddly and cute, and I'll get the camera ready and take a couple of steps away, then try to get her to look at the camera, but instead she goes over and reattaches herself to my leg. And if I'm sitting, it's lap kitty central!
