well...not quite all better yet....

Cincy had her staples out on Tuesday and as soon as I saw the wound, i was uneasy about it. But the vet took them out, and said she was good to go. No wrap, no nothing. So, we came home, and I put some antibiotic cream on it and vet wrap. Ralph looked at it about 10:30 that night, and by then it was bleeding again Not, at all tore oen like it was originally, but the skin didn't heal over the wound.

So Ralph stayed home from work Wednesday morning, and took her to see out new vet (we didn't go to him originally, becuase he was lcosed when it happened). Anyway, he said witht he shape, the best original treatment probablly wouldhavebeen to clip the skin in a straight line, and fixed up fromthere. Anyway, he clipped the skin off becuase it was dead anyway, so now it looks like a small patch of "road rash" He wants it open to air, and since Cincy is a chewer anyway, when we are not at home, or asleep, she is wearing a E-collar. Poor think gives yu those puppy dog eyes and makes you feel badabout, but it doesn't slow her down at all...in fact I tink she uses it to clear a path of anything in her way, include Sadie and Spot.

Hope it will be healed enough sometimes this week, that she can be E-collar free. I did take a couple pitures of the poor thing onemorning last week before work. I'll upload them now...
