Oh, please don't give up hope! There are so many stories of incredible reunions. Keep checking the shelters and veterinary hospitals in case she is turned in. Did you place an ad in the newspapers? I am so glad that someone there is able and willing to help your friend. In the meantime, I too pray that she is safe and well. I think of you and your friend and little Rainy often.
