Wow, Beaker looks adorable, and in fact just like my little Possum.

    Thanks everyone

Okay here's some of the info on Beaker. One of the team members brought him to the Manitoba Winter Fair for my room mate to take back to Saskatoon for a friend of theirs but it was decided that it might not be the best situation for him which was when I guess you could say he picked me. I was one of the few team members that he was friendly with right off the bat so he spent a couple of nights with me and Smudge while my room mate was visiting family and I guess to make a long story short he came home with me at the end of the show.

Now the reason he was looking for a home in the first place was apparently his original owners took him out one day and he had a panic attack so they took pity on him and decided not to take him out again. In other words he's missed out on a lot of socialization...though you wouldn't really be able to tell that all the time. Sure there are a few things that kind of freak him out at least of the things we've seen so far, and he's kind of leary around strangers and children at the moment and when he gets really scared in his crate he tends to crate bash...which explains the red spot on his nose (he hasn't really done that since coming to me) but for the most part he's a fairly happy go lucky pup who loves to jump and gets along great with the other dogs. Smudge especially.

I'd like to be able to use him for both Agility and Superdogs, but first he has to finish healing from his visit to the white coats (got certain bits and pieces removed) and learn some obdience. Till then though I'll just be taking him out either by himself or with the other dogs to get him used to all the new sights and sounds.

Thanks Amy for the great sig!

He was actually scratching his ears. He got a tattoo (a small one becuase of the perked ear thing) and it's kind of bugging him right now because it's still healing up and stuff. Well that and he really likes to sleep in some strange poses. He's the original doga master.

Tracy, I must have missed this.

What a cutie!! Congrats and thank you for taking that poor sweetie. How is he doing with the goonies? We need more pictures.
