Quickie Kelly Update:
She's feeling better today and her CT scan showed that she's improving (from the time she arrived at the hospital last week). She is going to get a double dose of Remecaid (sp?) via IV in an hour or so this afternoon, which should help her to feel better, so luckily that means no surgery.
The folks at the hospital are going to refer her to a specialist (a hospital that only deals with Inflammatory Bowel Disorders), because there's really not much else they can do for her there. I can't imagine what having Crohn's must be like, but Kelly is definitely a strong person to be able to go through everything she's going through right now.
She sounded better when I spoke to her on the phone this afternoon, so that's good. It could be Wednesday or even Thursday by the time she can go home.
