Oh Souraya I am so sorry that all this happened. You must have been so scared with Draker eating that bag. I am also worried because my new baby, Kersey, likes to chew stuff and I am so afraid that she'll chew the wrong thing when I am not there to watch her. I am glad he could just get a stomach pump, and not have to have surgery.
I am so sorry also about your wisdom teeth. All 4 of mine were impacted and growing sideways instead of down and to tell you the truth, it wasn't bad at all when I had them taken out a couple of years ago. I heard all sorts of horror stories and I was beyond terrified, but it was much easier then I thought it would be. My only suggestion is to have lots of frozen ice packs handy. You know those gel packs that you can either warm up in the microwave or freeze for either hot or cold compress? Well my suggestion would be to buy a few of them (the bigger sized ones) and freeze them before the surgery. It felt so nice lying down on the couch after the surgery with the frozen gel packs on my cheeks and I always rotated, as soon as one started losing it's coldness, I would put it back in the freezer and take out one of the frozen ones and I never got swolen or anything. It also felt soooo good to have the cold pack on my face.
I wish you luck, but you will be fine. And your mom is wrong, make a big deal out of it! It's always scary and even though I didn't have a real bad experience with it, it didn't make it completely painless.
Hugs to the Drake man.
